Who are we?
Born in the heart of Ferrara, in Via Contrari, Arte dei Contrari came to life in 2006 from an idea by Enrico De Lazzaro . From a small craft shop, we gave shape to a project that celebrates Italian art and tradition through the creation of unique and authentic artifacts . Our products are not simple objects: they are pieces of history, the fruit of passion and care , created to bring the essence and charm of “handmade” into the lives of those who choose them.
After years of experience gained within the walls of the workshop, in 2024 we decided to broaden our horizons, thanks also to the meeting with Paolo Tomasso , a long-time friend and passionate about craftsmanship. Together, we realized a dream: an online platform that could become a point of reference for all those who appreciate the art and value of Italian craftsmanship .
