The Creation Process
Each of our products begins as an idea and is transformed through a
ten-step process, in a unique piece of craftsmanship.
Discover the journey that transforms clay into pure emotion :
1. The idea takes shape
It all starts with the drawing on paper. The sketch is the first look at what will be.
2. From paper to lathe
The lathe receives the clay, which is carefully shaped to give life to the imagined form.
3. Hand engraving
When the clay reaches a “leather” consistency – solid but still workable – the delicate work of engraving begins. With a scalpel, every detail is sculpted by hand.
5. The sponging
One of the most delicate phases. The dry clay requires a light touch to remove impurities and refine every corner.
6. First baking (biscuit baking)
The artifact is fired at a temperature between 960° and 1200°C. The oven cools slowly, avoiding thermal shocks that could damage the object.
7. Enamelling:
Dipped in glaze and sprayed to even out the coverage, the piece is ready for the second firing.
8. Second cooking
In the oven at almost 1000°C, each piece is carefully cooked, avoiding any contact with other objects.
9. The lustre:
With a coat of sprayed lustre and a third firing at a lower temperature, the object acquires a unique shine.
10. Ready to thrill
After many phases, each essential, our artifact is ready to convey the emotion of its creative journey. Every detail, every care makes each piece something special, unique and unrepeatable.
